OPPORTUNITIES

B2B Freelance Opportunities

Project opportunities may come from European companies or international businesses seeking independent expertise. They are described as outcomes rather than job ads. Here is what employers read for, and how to choose the jobs that suit you.

WHAT THIS PAGE IS

Guidance about the projects posted on VirtualMasst, not a live feed of them. A few open positions may be visible online, but the majority of project opportunities are visible to registered talents inside the platform.

FIT

Who should look for B2B freelance opportunities

It suits you if

  • You operate as a business and invoice in your own name
  • You are deep in one discipline rather than broad across many
  • You can show work done under real constraints
  • You ask questions when a job needs more detail

Good to know

  • VirtualMasst connects companies directly with independent professionals for B2B jobs, from short-term jobs to long-term projects
  • You read the jobs and choose the ones you respond to
  • Profiles are not ranked
  • Project availability varies by industry, expertise and client demand. Registration does not guarantee jobs. Wait for a job that aligns with your expertise

SCOPES

Typical project scopes

Recognise the type of project before you think about the price.

An assessment or review

Bounded, ending in a written position. Often the first thing a cautious employer buys, and a good way to earn the second project.

A migration or modernisation

Has a cutover date, which needs careful planning. Expect questions about the rollback plan.

A build with a clear deliverable

Defined output, defined acceptance criteria. The easiest to price, as long as the scope is clear.

A retained arrangement

An agreed cadence rather than an open commitment. It usually follows a project that went well.

EMPLOYER EXPECTATIONS

What employers expect from applicants

A business buying from a business. Fit with the project matters more than a low rate.

You did this specific thing

Show experience with the specific work, not only related work.

You understood the constraint

Mention the key points and risks in the job. It shows your experience.

You suggest improvements

Suggesting a better scope before quoting helps the employer.

You know what you need from them

Access, decisions, environments, test data. Naming it shows you have done this before.

PRESENTATION

How to present your experience and availability

  • One discipline, named first, ahead of the full list
  • Three or four pieces of work, each with the constraint attached
  • Availability as dates and days a week, not “immediately”
  • Evidence any employer can follow
  • Payout details complete, so payments are not delayed

TERMS

Rates, project structure and acceptance criteria

Your rate

You set it and agree it directly with the employer.

Projects

For larger work, split it into pieces the employer can review and release one at a time. Each one is pre-funded before you start it.

Acceptance criteria

Agree what “done” means before the work starts. It is what you point to when the project is reviewed.

FEES AND PAYMENT

Platform fees, verification and payment process

Talents pay a monthly subscription from the day the account is approved and a flat fee on a confirmed hire, with nothing charged per application; the figures are on the pricing page.

Stripe runs identity, banking and compliance checks before you can be paid. Payouts are issued fifteen calendar days after the employer releases payment for a completed project — the sequence is on How it works.

CHOOSING

Decide whether an opportunity is worth pursuing

Does it match your experience?

Choose projects that match your experience. It helps you and the employer.

Is the job ready?

An outcome, a date and someone who approves. If they are missing, ask before you respond.

Is the timing clear?

A start date and a budget help you plan.

YOUR TIME

Protect your time during clarification

Before the work starts

  • Answer the questions that decide fit; save the detailed solution for the paid work
  • Offer a small paid first step when an employer wants a plan before committing
  • Keep the conversation on the platform, so the record stays in one place
  • Say when you are stepping back — politely, and early

YOUR NEXT STEP
