Why VirtualMasst?
“VirtualMasst”, in short “vMasst”, is more than a name.
It is a play on the words “Virtual must”, reflecting how important virtual work and digitalisation have become for businesses and independent professionals.
For freelancers and consultants, flexible ways of working are already part of everyday professional life.
That is why VirtualMasst was built: to embrace this contemporary way of working and help businesses work more flexibly with independent expertise.
Work can be on site, remote or hybrid.

Our advice is simple:

The VirtualMasst team reviews and approves profiles before they become visible.
The checks cover:
- The professional profile, with a CV
- Applicable business information, such as VAT or company registration
An incomplete profile is not approved.
These checks do not mean that every skill, qualification or portfolio item has been independently verified.
The employer decides which talent is right for the job.
Direct collaboration
VirtualMasst connects employers and talents and facilitates pre-funding and payment through Stripe.
The process is direct:
- Explore profiles
- Start a conversation
- Agree the scope, timeline and deliverables
- Pre-fund the work
- Complete the job
- Approve the work
- Release payment
Employers pay upfront through Stripe, using a valid payment method.
Funds are held within the Stripe payment flow until release.
For larger jobs, the employer can decide to split the work into several projects. Each project can be pre-funded, approved and released separately.
Talents invoice employers in their own name.
Where applicable, invoices can be created and sent through VirtualMasst’s PEPPOL network.
