How VirtualMasst connects Virtual Assistants and companies
Updated: Sep 17
Posting a project on VirtualMasst is deliberately simple, whether you need a long-term collaborator or help with one short piece of work.
Here is the whole process, from posting to paying.

How VirtualMasst connects Virtual Assistants and companies? Two ways to post a project
Public project. The listing is visible to eligible registered professionals, who can apply for the work.
Private project. You target a specific independent professional with an offer that is not published to the wider marketplace.
In either case, set the scope, budget or rate, timeline, work mode and expected deliverables clearly before you ask somebody to commit.
Writing a listing that attracts the right people
Your posting is the first thing a professional sees, and it does more work than most companies expect. Time spent here saves you a fortnight later.
A clear, detailed description lets somebody quickly understand your objectives, the skills required, and what you expect. Vague briefs attract vague applications.
Include all of this:
Project title and category — a title that reflects the actual work, categorised so the right people find it
Description — the work involved, the deliverables, and enough background to give context
Timeline — start and end dates, or expected duration
Work mode — remote, on-site or hybrid, so availability is clear from the start
Budget — hourly or fixed price, with a range that genuinely reflects your scope
For a public project, eligible professionals can apply and you choose who to speak to. For a private project, the selected professional can accept or decline your offer; it is not simultaneously advertised to everybody else.
VirtualMasst does not run a bidding-war model. The company makes the hiring decision based on the information available, the conversation and its own due diligence.
Clarity is the strongest filter you have: the more specific the scope, the easier it is for the right professional to recognise the fit. That is how how VirtualMasst connects Virtual Assistants and companies.
Finding somebody yourself
You do not have to wait for applications.
You can also browse professional profiles rather than waiting for applications. Review the person's experience, portfolio and other information they have supplied, then message them through the platform if the fit looks promising.
Profile information is supplied by users. VirtualMasst may review profiles for platform standards, but clients should still verify the qualifications, references or permissions that matter for their project.
Found the right person?
When you are ready to proceed, agree the rate or fixed price, scope, deliverables, timeline and any separate service contract directly with the professional.
The current Terms require at least €15 per hour for hourly work or €300, VAT excluded, for a fixed-price project.
Before work starts, the client pre-funds the full project or agreed milestone. The money is held by Stripe under the platform's account structure, and the applicable platform fees are shown before confirmation.
A private offer is useful when you already know who you want to approach. A public project is useful when you want the wider pool to apply.
The short version
VirtualMasst supports public and private posting with published platform fees. The exact amounts and payment rules are governed by the current Terms of Use.
VirtualMasst acts as a technical and administrative intermediary. Stripe handles the payment-related KYC and fund-holding infrastructure; VirtualMasst does not hold user funds and does not become a party to the service contract between client and professional.
