FEES
VirtualMasst Fees and Pricing
What it costs to use the platform, on both sides, in one place. The talent’s rate is agreed directly between the employer and the talent; these are VirtualMasst’s platform fees.
Fees can change.

AT A GLANCE
Current fee structure
Talents have two platform fees. Employers pay once to publish a private or public project and, if the project proceeds, a separate pre-funding fee. Homepage advertising is available separately through the Marigold plan.
Talent subscription. Starts from account approval.
Confirmed hire. Charged to the talent for each confirmed hire.
Project publishing. Charged once to the employer for each published private or public project.
Public project pre-funding
Private project pre-funding
Homepage advertising. A homepage advertisement for 3–4 weeks, available to employers and talents. It can be extended at the same price.
TALENTS
Talent fees
Iris — €15 a month from approval
The Iris subscription starts on the day your account is approved. It is charged each month whether or not you have a project that month.
Calla — €35 per confirmed hire
The Calla fee applies when an employer confirms a hire. It is deducted before payout.
It is a flat fee, not a percentage of the talent’s earnings.
Daffodil — €10 to publish a private or public project
The Daffodil fee is charged once for each published private or public project. Employers do not pay a monthly subscription.
Pre-funding fee when the project proceeds
When an employer proceeds with a project, the applicable platform charge is:

- Efficient invoicing and compliance in a B2B environment
TAX AND INVOICING
VAT, invoicing and PEPPOL
The talent invoices the work
The talent invoices the work in their own name.
VirtualMasst invoices its own fees
Employers pay upfront via credit card or bank transfer through Stripe.
As soon as payment is received, VirtualMasst issues a final PDF invoice confirming the transaction.
When the job is completed, the talent is paid from the pre-funded amount — the employer does not pay again.
PEPPOL for talents
Talents across Europe can invoice their clients using the VirtualMasst PEPPOL system when required.
PROJECTS
How to read project pre-funding
Pre-fund what is about to start
The employer pre-funds the project before work begins. Funds are held within the Stripe payment flow until release.
Confirm, then release
When the project is complete, the employer confirms the work and releases the payment.
Payout follows
Payouts are issued fifteen calendar days after the employer releases payment for a completed project.
