- On site
- Remote
- Hybrid
SELECTION
How to shortlist European specialists
Explore relevant applicants
Review experience, expertise, availability and previous work connected to the type of job and markets involved.
Compare cross-border experience
Look at whether the talent has worked with similar countries, systems, languages or distributed teams. Further checks are the employer’s duty.
Start a conversation
Discuss the job directly. Confirm the countries involved, working languages, availability, work setup, scope, timeline and rate.
You choose and contract directly
Your company chooses the talent. You agree the job directly, manage the collaboration and approve the completed work.
PRE-FUNDING
Pre-funding and payment for cross-border jobs
The employer pays upfront by credit card or bank transfer through Stripe.
Funds are held within the Stripe payment flow until release.
For a larger cross-border job, the employer can decide to split the work into several projects and pre-fund each project.
When the agreed work is complete, the employer confirms completion and releases payment.

SHORTLISTING

Ask which parts of the job need local knowledge or on-site presence and which can be delivered remotely.
Choose the talent
Select the talent whose expertise, cross-border experience, availability and approach fit the job.
THE RIGHT APPROACH
How cross-border collaboration unfolds
Project-based specialists for SMEs in Europe can work alongside your existing team or independently, depending on the job.
Set expectations and structure
Agree:
- Deliverables
- Timeline
- Rate
- Countries and languages involved
- Work setup
- Access and communication requirements
Manage work across locations
For ongoing or multi-country needs, agree who the talent will work with in each location and how decisions, questions and progress will be coordinated.
Work with specialist expertise
A cross-border talent can contribute to one defined part of a wider job while your internal team keeps ownership of the business context and decisions.
Coordinate larger cross-border programmes
When several countries or security workstreams are involved, define responsibilities and interfaces clearly so each part of the job has an owner.
