Reviews and reputation

If you are searching for freelancers with client reviews Europe businesses can compare, it is important to know what evidence VirtualMasst currently provides. The platform does not currently publish talent ratings or platform reviews. Employers can instead review profiles, CVs and portfolios, speak directly with talents and ask for references before hiring.

Definition

What reputation evidence you can use

Evidence you can review

  • The talent profile approved by the VirtualMasst team
  • The talent's CV and available portfolio
  • Experience relevant to your particular job
  • References you request directly from a past employer

How reviews work today

  • VirtualMasst does not currently publish platform reviews or star ratings
  • The platform does not create a reputation score for talents
  • Profile approval does not confirm future quality or reliability
  • Further checks before hiring remain the employer's decision
  • The employer chooses which talent to hire
The evidence

What to review before you hire

Step 01

Profile and professional information

The VirtualMasst team reviews and approves talent profiles before employers can see them.

Review the experience, CV and portfolio that are available and compare them with the work you need.

Step 02

Relevant project history

Look for previous work that relates closely to your job.

Ask the talent to explain what they worked on, what they were responsible for and how that experience relates to your requirements.

Step 03

References

You can ask for a reference from a past employer when you need additional evidence.

VirtualMasst does not present those references as verified platform reviews.

Your decision

What reputation evidence cannot confirm

Profiles, portfolios and references can help you make a more informed decision. They do not replace your own assessment of the talent.

What the evidence does not confirm

  • That a talent is right for your particular job
  • That previous experience will produce the same result on new work
  • That future deliverables will meet your required standard
  • A talent's future reliability, communication or quality of delivery

The employer decides who to hire.

Professional verification

Pre-funding

What happens after you choose

The employer pays upfront through Stripe, using a valid payment method.

Funds are held within the Stripe payment flow until release, and the employer releases payment after confirming the agreed work is complete. For larger jobs, the employer can decide to split the work into several projects.
